| Thank you for a wonderful experience. This was my first visit to Mandalay,
and I couldn’t have picked a nicer hotel to stay at. The hotel is small
and very well managed. Rooms are cozy and clean; my room was midsize and
okay for one or two person. Spacious bathrooms, hot water took a while,
but you are warned about this, so not a problem.
The restaurant is nice and bright and you can eat outside. I would highly recommend the Indian food,
and enjoyed watching the chef prepare my breakfast fresh each morning. My
only suggestion for the restaurant is that the coffee was cold, this
happens. But, the waiter did observe I wasn’t drinking and offered to
replace it.
I’m sorry I didn’t get to try the pool, as it looked so clean, and
welcoming - next visit. The trips I planned through the hotel were very
good. Driver was really nice and did his best to cover the highlights.
Although his English is limited, there wasn’t a problem communicating the
places I wanted to see or not see. Such as waiting for the sunset, when I
wasn’t feeling great.
I departed Mandalay via the riverboat and besides trying to locate the
appropriate dock, the driver stayed with me until my boat arrived, which I
thought was very kind considering you can’t exactly hail a cab there.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting local experience and
friendly staff. Wished I’d had more time to walk around the neighborhood
a little.
Keep up the great work, I hope I can return very soon!

Nous venons de revenir en France où il fait très triste il
pleut et il fait froid. Pour répondre à ta question le red canal hotel fait
partie de nos préférés de notre séjour dans votre très beau pays... le
cadere et les chambres sont très agréable, le lieu du petit déjeuner très
bien et l'accueil très gentil...

| Nous sommes rentrés depuis ce matin à Paris, il fait froid et nous
regrettons déjà la Birmanie et la chaleur de votre accueil, nous avons
passé douze jours magnifiques dans votre beau pays et pensons y revenir
un jour.
Votre hôtel est parfait, nous l'avons très bien noté dans la feuille
d'appréciations à la fin de notre séjour, insistant particulièrement sur
la serviabilité du personnel. Il est bien agréable pour nous français
qui parlons très mal l'anglais de rencontrer de charmantes hôtesses qui
pratiquent notre langue.
Nous serons heureux de correspondre avec vous quand vous le désirerez.

| My family and I spent three nights at the hotel and loved every single
minute of our stay. As soon as you enter the gate, in fact, you feel at
home. Compared to others, the hotel is not huge, but there's nothing
missing. A part from the beauty of the place and the care put in every
single detail of the hotel (inside, outside, upstair, downstair, wherever
you will look and touch!), the most amazing part comes when you meet the
people giving life to it. There's always a friendly smile and a helping
hand. We also had all our meals at hotel and really enjoy the kitchen and
the service. In the busy life of Mandalay, it's really a place you to
relax and, most of all, to feel at home.

| Aloha,
My husband and I spent 5 days at the Red Canal Hotel and loved every
moment of it! Beautiful rooms, great internet, exceptional restaurant and
the best staff ever! This hotel is an oasis in Mandalay and we look
forward to coming back and spending much more time there. Thank you so
very much Mr. Kumar and thank you staff! You are all amazing and made us
feel so very much at home!

| This is the 2nd time we are going in this hotel, the best of Mandalay.
The director was very well received and that all personnel
is particularly charming and efficient that we appreciate Nanda
mostly it particularly speaks very good French. The hotel is
very nice to relax after sightseeing and cooking
Indian served at the restaurant is delicious. We strongly recommend
this hotel to anyone who wants to avoid major hotels without
charm. It has a floor and the garden is a true paradise.

| C'est la 2ème fois que nous allons dans cet hôtel,le meilleur de Mandalay.
Le directeur nous a très bien accueilli ainsi que tout le personnel qui
est charmant et efficace notamment Nanda que nous apprécions
particulièrement surtout qu'elle parle très bien français. L'hôtel est
très agréable pour se reposer après les visites de la ville et la cuisine
indienne servie au restaurant est délicieuse. Nous recommandons vivement
cet hôtel à toute personne qui désire éviter les grands hôtels sans
charme. Celui-ci n'a qu'un étage et le jardin est un vrai paradis.

| Dear Mr Kumar I wanted to say a personal thank you for giving me the opportunity of staying at your hotel recently. I found it delightful and thoroughly enjoyed the meal my sister and I had on our first night. Very tasty and excellent value. What I particularly liked was how easy it was to walk around the surrounding areas of the hotel and to just feel that you were right in the midst of things and seeing so many local people living their lives on a day-to-day basis. Once I find all my sales kits and information/notes that I took, I hope to be able to update our website and put the Red Canal details on our Mandalay page.
